KIT 12th scale 18th century Chadeliers
Sold in kit form these wonderful ceiling candelabras are stunning and would certainly make a statement in any 18th century or later room. In particular if you have a long thin room with a statementdining table then two at either end would be superb.
These are not electrified but the candle holders have been designed to accept a small candle bulb and therefore with a little bit of effort and time these could be electified.

Candle Making
I have photographed some of the models with fake plastic candles. They are simple to make should you wish to purchase the additional candle making rod
Cut to length 19mm for the larger candles and 13mm for the small candles.
Cut one end (the base) so it is slightly tapered and the other end with a flat edge. Stand them upright in some clay or plasticine and dot the tops with some superglue...you can drizzle it down the side if you want a dripped effect. Cut a small piece of black cotton and using tweezers place standing upright on top of the candle. Using superglue activator spray the glue for instant setting. Cut off excess cotton to leave a small black wick.
You can also make your own candles using sculpy (polymer clay). Candles from the 18th century were very unusual in that most were a little bit wonky and very tapered unlike a lot of modern candles. This was because the process of manufacture was dipping creating an ununiform shape. Google 18th century candles and you will see what I mean.
The main body is made from Pewter Alloy and is highly detailed.
Supplied unpainted in its raw state ready for painting. There is a choice in the drop down menu to choose a to buy indivdually with or without candle kit.
Tips
Use superglue and activator
Remove any tiny casting sprues before priming with a metal primer.
Use tacky wax to hold candles in position
